J.W.L. Wolf side.
In 1872, six years after the Confederacy gained it's independance, Texas rebelled from the Confederacy over differing opinions on the relations with Mexico. There was a short but bloody war (the Texan Rebellion, 1872-1873), mostly over the provinces north and east of the Red River that Texas had claimed, but eventually the two sides came to peace, and the Confederates grudgingly acknowledged Texan Independance.
