Just a little piece from the Butterfly Hurricane works, a new style I'm trying out.

I might do similar layouts for some of the other nations - mainly since it gives me an oppertunity to show off some of the flags too, heh.

I like the whole idea, i still hope you can get a European Map Up...
:iconneethis:
Me too :) lack of sleep plus illness plus Christmas soon isn't conducive to focusing on alternate histories though... I may hold off till the new year before I progress any more with it.
I posted this piece up mainly 'cos it was a tester for the different style.

p.s., you gotta love Jefferson State and the Nebraska panhandle :D heh

what happens in the future?

What happens in ours? Heh.
I've only thought about the events of the timeline up til the time that the maps are set.

It's here: [link] :D

In 1872, six years after the Confederacy gained it's independance, Texas rebelled from the Confederacy over differing opinions on the relations with Mexico. There was a short but bloody war (the Texan Rebellion, 1872-1873), mostly over the provinces north and east of the Red River that Texas had claimed, but eventually the two sides came to peace, and the Confederates grudgingly acknowledged Texan Independance.

I see the CSA got all of OTL Virginia, Kentucky and Missouri. I'd have thought that the Treaty of Atlanta would have split them up, since they were badly divided in OTL.

Oklahoma? Shouldn't that be "Indian Territory"? :p
:iconneethis:
Part of the unconditional surrender of the USA ;)

Lol, yes probably :D
